Tajikistani somoni – the official currency of Tajikistan. It is subdivided into 100 diram. The international currency code of the Tajikistani somoni is TJS.

The somoni was issued in  2000, replacing the Tajikistani rubla in the exchange rate of  1000 rublas for 1 somoni.

Coins in circulation are in denominations of  5, 10, 20 and 50 diram, and of 1, 3 and 5 somoni.

Banknotes in circulation have nominal values of 1, 5, 10 and 20 diram, and of 1, 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 somoni.
